Industrial Resources
One Year Certificate
It is focused on building basic skills in welding, machining, blueprint reading, quality control and more. After approximately one year of study, students earn a Certificate of Completion in Manufacturing Technology, providing students with the skills needed to gain entry-level manufacturing employment.
The One-Year Certificate applies towards the requirements for completion of the Two-Year Certificate and/or to Associate of Applied Science (AAS) requirements.

See a listing of courses required for a Certificate in Manufacturing Technology. Students should note that the manufacturing classes are taught at COCC’s Redmond campus. These classes are all self-paced and designed to give students skills in specific manufacturing topics.
Students will work closely with the program facilitator to develop appropriate timeline and course scheduling. MATC courses require 15 or more hours of laboratory work for each credit hour. All students must attend a free orientation session before they can begin their manufacturing classes.
See an MATC advisor for further details.
